Katrina and Nick opted for a destination wedding at Lake Tahoe, CA - I am so glad they did! I could not have been happier when they asked me to travel with them to capture this special day. Surrounded by tall pine trees, our morning started in a grand home overlooking Lake Tahoe where the bridal party stayed and prepped for the day. We then made our way to a spot in the pines for Katrina and Nick’s first look, followed by a quick change in plans to another pine tree location for family and bridal party photos. Lake Tahoe is filled with beautiful landscapes, but I was quite surprised at how many pine trees there are! After portraits, it was time for the ceremony - on a beautiful beach at Lake Tahoe! The views were incredible and the sun was shining bright for their sweet, intimate ceremony. We then made our way to Cave Rock which required a change in shoes for our small hike up the trail. It was worth it! Cave Rock offers breath-taking views of the Lake, with minimal rock climbing needed. After some portraits, we headed to the reception location at Basecamp Beer Garden to enjoy some brews by South of North Brewing Co. The night finished with applying custom temporary tattoos designed by Nick, cry-worthy speeches, plenty of laughing, and of course, dancing.

Katrina and Nick, I cannot thank you enough for asking me to be a part of your special day. The love you share together is truly incredible. I am so lucky to know two incredibly kind souls. Congratulations to a lifetime ahead filled with love and happiness!
